Watch Repair
Repairs and servicing are important to the function of your high-end watch. Our service technician is reliable and trustworthy. He has been servicing our watches for over 30 years. He is Rolex trained and a certified watchmaker with many of the most common luxury brands. We only use the best. Besides the obvious benefit of our wholesale prices, our service turnover time is often less than two weeks as opposed to several months with Rolex and other high-end watch companies. Rolex would typically quote over $1000 on a service and repair that would only cost $275 with Juell Time. Prices do vary depending on the brand, model, age, condition and repair needs. Below is a general guide but is not always absolute.
Service Prices (including most luxury watches)
Service Overhaul and Polish: $450. No matter where you go or what you do, a service is always going to cost you. To have an expert watchmaker take apart an entire watch, clean and lubricate all the parts, then put it back together, is tedious and time consuming. The question remains: Is it worth the money to send your watch to the Brand? Or is our expert watchmaker sufficient? We feel that most of the time, our services are excellent and more than sufficient. If for any reason a watch should be sent to the Brand, we will NEVER hesitate to suggest that and we will even gladly assist you in getting it there. It is rarely needed, but it does happen.
Service Overhaul: $395. Replacing the sapphire crystal on a high end watch makes a huge difference in the appearance of the entire watch and also the ease of quickly telling the time. If the watch is an older one, with the original domed plastic or acrylic crystal, the sapphire will be a beautiful upgrade that is flat and scratch resistant.
Sapphire Crystal: $95.
Detail Polish: $195. Just think of detailing your car but on a much smaller level. All the cosmetic parts of the watch are disassembled: the band, case, clasp, and bezel are each individually detailed and gently cleaned and polished to look brand new again. This must be done by a skilled professional as the bracelet has squared off links that need careful attention not to be rounded out, as does the bezel and case edges. The goal is to polish by removing the least amount of precious metal as possible and still reduce the scratches to get that brand new shine.
